Magilatech in collaboration with Dar Teknohama Business Incubator (DTBi) and Institute for Management and Entrepreneurship Development (IMED) supported by the Royal Danish Embassy launched and implemented the Tanzania Digital Innovation Youth Empowerment Programme (TADIYE). The initiative focused on identifying young entrepreneurs (especially girls, women and the marginalised) and providing them with ICT knowledge/skills accompanied with entrepreneurship training, financing, mentoring, and coaching. Magilatech created and deployed the Business Entrepreneurship Skills Platform (BESP) that provided entrepreneurship training across Tanzania, with a focus on women and youth entrepreneurs.
Magilatech continues to maintain and has undertaken various expansion activities for the BESP platform. BESP has over 130,000+ active users (85,000+ Male and 45,000+ Female) across Tanzania as of March 2022
